The American Society of Anesthesiologist, (ASA) physical grade classification system is the system of classification for measuring the fitness of patients prior to surgery.
Currently the anesthetics mortality contributes to less than 10% of all operative mortality. In spite of this decrease the preoperative mortality is also important as it will bring care and improvements in preoperative care. According the American Society of Anesthesia the incidence of mortality rate in status 1 and status 2 ranges from 0.02-0.04 per 10, 000. Assessment of this mortality makes the system to control the health related problems. The patients were observed for American Society of Anesthesiologist Physical Status in Neurosurgical procedure. During the course of this cross sectional study the patients was all ages and both gender, all the data was confirmed by taking previous systemic disease history. total patient is 173 most of the patient 111 were male while 67 patients were female. the number of discharge patient were 157 (90.8) while the remaining 16 (9.2) patient were expired. According to ASA classification in ASA class I having 39 (22.5%) of the total patients in which all patients were discharge while no patients were expired. ASA class II having 99 total patients in which 95 patients were discharged while 4 (4.04%) patients were expired. ASA class III has 35 total patients from which 23 patients were discharged while the expiry in this class was high which 12 (34.2%) patients
