Abstract

Objective/ background

Cardiovascular disease is the name for a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels & risk factors means something that increases risk or susceptibility. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Our objective of this study is to assist the general population by providing recent data regarding the risks factor of CVDs in today’s environment.

Methodology

Approval was taken from department of community medicine and ethical committee of northwest school of medicine and 50 Patients were taken from OPD of NWGH and RC. It was cross sectional study type with convenience sampling method. Semi structured questioners was used. Pilot study was done on 10 percent of population and data was presented in the form of tables and graphs.
