Aim:
To evaluate Renal stone, cysts and masses on Computed Tomography Kidney Ureter Bladder (CT KUB).
Material and Methods:
Retrospective study was conducted in Northwest General Hospital and Research Center Peshawar. The duration of our study was 6 Months. 227 sample size was collected from August 2022 to August 2023. We analyze the collected data through Statistical Package for Social Science version 26.0
Results:
A total 227 participants were investigated for renal stone, cyst and masses on CT KUB (non-contrast). Results showed that 145 (63.9%) patients were males, 82 (36.1%) were females. Total 153 (60.2%) patients were suspected with renal stone, 44 (17.4%) renal cyst, 8 (3.2%) renal masses on CT KUB. Out of 111 hydronephrosis patients 63 Patients have mild hydronephrosis. In our result large stone size was 31 to 40mm and largest cyst size was 41 to 46mm.
Conclusion:
According to our study 227 patients were investigated on CT KUB, stones 153 (60.2%) were identified more frequently than renal cysts 44 (17.4%), while the least number of renal masses 8 (3.2%) were found. Men were more affected as compared to woman, and they were more common between the ages of 26 and 35.
